The weathered green sign hanging at the entrance to Scott and Daria’s farm reads “THE LARSENS,” a quiet but firm nod to heritage. While many Norwegian immigrants changed the spelling of their last name to “Larson” to blend in, Scott and his family kept the original — “Larsen” — the most common form in Norway.
